Races
Duela contains many mortal and semi-mortal peoples.
Some races descend from ancient origins connected to the Proto-Hyu. Others were created by gods or shaped through The Essence.

Notes for writers
Writers may create new cultures, settlements, traditions, and subgroups within existing races.
Races should not be treated as culturally monolithic. A human kingdom, an elven forest tribe, a catfolk trading family, and an orckin scholar can all differ heavily depending on place and history.
